LAS MANOS DE OBRA

What started as an idea to make a film about the world's most expensive coffee, Geisha, led to a much deeper story. One about a country's dependency on and exploitation of their indigenous community in support of the world's growing coffee demand. A film about two worlds connected through the often overlooked labor of an indigenous community. Filmed on location in Boquete, Panama.

"The coffee workforce, globally, is the largest group of underpaid employees, anyplace in the world" - Rich Lipner, Owner Finca Dos Jefes
